SUMMARY:[R]BlenderCAD Development - International Online Meeting
DESCRIPTION:
Once a month the BlenderCAD Development Team holds an international online meeting so that we can talk to each other in real time about the project. We are currently gaining a new member about every 2 or 3 weeks. For those of you who are not familiar with our project\, here is the just of it...

BlenderCAD is a fork of Blender and later to become an official part of the Blender project. Our primary goal is to create a great\, full featured\, cad environment. A program that can be used for drafting\, designing\, engineering\, architecture\, and even CNC work. Our secondary goal is to make Blender more clean\, so that it will be a better tool for artists.

Please feel free to come and join in the meeting. It is an enjoyable way to contribute to the open source community. If you are interested the online meeting is on irc.freenode.net\, channel #cad\, and port 6667. The third Saturday of every month. Also\, we now have full access to the old BlenderCAD website and are in the process of updating it\: <a href=\\"http\://projects.blender.org/projects/blendercad/\\" title=\\"http\://projects.blender.org/projects/blendercad/\\">http\://projects.blender.org/projects/blendercad/

SUMMARY:Hackfest - Security Lab
DESCRIPTION:
We meet in Room 2AB at John C. Lincoln Hospital in April.

Monthly security presentations and lectures\, with open PLUG participation occur\, on the first Tuesday of every month. Come prepared to learn about a security tool and then start using it. Ethical and legal\, as well as liability aspects of testing are covered as we investigate the strange world of computer insecurity from our powerful Penguin perspectives.

The Hackfest is specially scheduled demonstration that includes open cracking exploits and IDS. Quarterly Hackfests are open encroachment/IDS events with designated targets and competition that require registration and agreement to acceptable use\, as well as understanding of liability and self protection. Extensive setup and tear down\, forensics and IDS are required so these events are limited to make the best experience for all attendees.

Don't learn to hack\; hack to learn. Hack test your installations and source using Linux Security distro tools. Arrangements are happily accepted to coordinate extra credit with local College teachers.

Facilities generously provided by John C. Lincoln Hospital <a href=\\"http\://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&amp\;hl=en&amp\;geocode=&amp\;q=9202+N.+Second+St.\,+phoenix+az&amp\;sll=37.0625\,-95.677068&amp\;sspn=41.411029\,74.794922&amp\;ie=UTF8&amp\;z=16&amp\;iwloc=addr\\">Cowden Center Room #1AB

Plan on being able to use live CDs if you bring your laptop to lab presentations\, but open network access is limited to HackFests\, which require pre-registration\, and MAC/IP address assignment (for forensics).

There is an <a href=\\"http\://it-clowns.com/v/index.php?main_page=contact_us\\">open call for Backtrack or Security Distro presentations and participants\, especially for IDS and forensics.
